Originating from Japan and Russia, the Kurilian Bobtail is full of energy and zeal. No two Kurilian Bobtails will ever have the same tail. Even though they appear to be smaller, they have a pretty sturdy and muscular body.

The name of this cat suggests two things; first, that they originate from Japan, and secondly, they have bobtails that look similar to the tail of a rabbit. They are smart, loving and have a very melodious voice.

Cats are naturally very loving. No matter what breed one owns, they are definitely one of the jolliest, affectionate and caring companions one can have.
